Sam Stern founded SmartPoint Data Strategies in 2022, specializing in data management, engineering, and analysis.
With over 8 years of experience in political data management and a background in Software Engineering, Sam began his career on a local campaign in New Rochelle, New York. He then moved to Texas to work as a Data Engineer for a consulting firm, becoming an expert in voter contact data.
Sam ended up as Chief Information Officer at a major direct voter contact firm in Iowa, where he managed a team handling millions of data points daily. His expertise includes cleaning, storing, and reporting data for hundreds of clients.
Through his work, Sam has perfected best practices in data management, helping campaigns save on voter contact budgets by ensuring data is clean, standardized, and easily usable.
